How do you fancy listening to me rabbiting on about avoiding grievances and changing cultures?
When the superb Fay Wallis attended our mediator training earlier this year, she was so impressed by the skills she'd acquired, she asked me if I'd be willing to record a podcast with her.
It was certainly an offer that I couldn't ever refuse. I always love talking to Fay, so I agreed to do my second podcast in her "HR Coffee Time" series.
At first I was gutted not to be the 100th episode but as I was number 99, I received a free chocolate flake - honest! 🍦
Some questions were extremely tough to answer, such as "what's your most memorable mediation". That's like asking a parent to choose a favourite child... well not quite but you get the gist!
The discussion brought some really emotional memories back for me as some of the cases over the years have been incredibly sensitive and tough.
Fay is a very skilled interviewer, so it was no surprise to me that she did so well on the training course.
