We deal with a lot of individual issues where the main issue is the manager not having the courage to lead effectively and have proper conversations.
It's very sad to see how badly some people are treated, all because their manager doesn't have the capability, confidence or courage to have the proper conversations with people - instead they fabricate issues - normally performance issues, or they'll decide to reorganise - all with the intention of exiting somebody from the business because their face doesn't fit anymore.
There are ways and means of having these types of conversation - we really do encourage managers to not take the cowardly way out, but instead to have the guts to lead effectively and have some difficult but honest conversations with people.
