Sometimes we make leading people seem more complicated than it is - just remembering one word (and actually being) reasonable pretty much cuts it - and please don't take being reasonable as being soft - often the toughest decisions are the reasonable ones!

Continuous improvement needs innovation and pushing boundaries to progress. Driving improvements means some things won't work out and people will make mistakes - use these as opportunities to learn. Don't stifle innovation and improvements.
